State Fire Marshal Encourages Fireworks Safety

The Illinois State Fire Marshal is encouraging residents to leave fireworks to the professionals over the July 4th holiday.  The use of fireworks leads to accidental fires, burn injuries, loss of limbs, and deaths across the state each year.  More than two-hundred fireworks related injuries and one death was reported in Illinois last year.
