State Health Chief Recommends All Adults Get COVID-19 Booster Shot

The state Health Department is joining the FDA in recommending COVID-19 booster shots for all adults. Illinois Public Health Director Doctor Ngozi Ezike says there has been a 25-percent increase in cases statewide over the past week. She adds that those who are 18 and older should get the booster six months after the Pfizer or Moderna shot and two months after the Johnson and Johnson vaccine.
