State Police: One Dead, One Seriously Injured On I-57 When Disabled Vehicle Struck

One person is dead and another is in serious condition after their disabled vehicle was struck by another vehicle on I-57 near I-80 in suburban Country Club Hills. Police say the victims were trying to put gas in their car when they were hit from behind. The driver of the vehicle that hit the disabled vehicle stayed at the scene.
