State Republicans Encouraging Pritzker To Veto Redistricting Maps

Illinois Republicans are encouraging Governor J.B. Pritzker to veto redistricting maps drawn by lawmakers.  Many lawmakers believe the redistricting process should be open and transparent and that a politician-led process is not fair or non-partisan.  More than a half-million people in the state supported a ballot question for an independent redistricting commission.
