Reporters covering the NASCAR races this weekend had the opportunity to learn about the JTHS Social Media Project, a real-world curricular project that provided JTHS students with the opportunity to work with professionals from Unidos Marketing to create promotional videos advertising the Chicagoland Speedway NASCAR events.   Participating in the conference were West alumna Sereniti Ross, Central student Jabari Dent, Chicagoland Speedway President Scott Paddock, First Midwest Bank President Jim Roolf, JTHS Strategic Partnership Director Brett Marcum, and JTHS Academy Coordinator Jeff Riley.  A special thanks goes out to First Midwest Bank and President Jim Roolf for the donation of 250 tickets to the NASCAR races so that students had the opportunity to experience the event first-hand after working so hard on their projects.
