Target Cuts Ribbon on New Distribution Center

Target held a ribbon cutting ceremony for a new distribution center off of Route 6 on Tuesday morning. The 1.2 million square foot building is the largest speck building that has been constructed in the Chicagoland area. The plan is for Target to hire about 300 full time employees with no temp positions to be offered. The official address of the facility is 3300 Channahon Road in Joliet.
