Task Force Formed To Combat Retail Thefts in the Area

There’s a new task force to crack down on retail thefts in Chicago and in the surrounding suburbs. Yesterday, Illinois Attorney General Kwame Raoul was joined by Will County State’s Attorney Jim Glasgow and area law enforcement to announce the new effort aimed at combating organized retail thefts. Raoul said often the suspects arrested in these crimes are being used as “mules at the lowest level of a larger enterprise.”
