Teens Who Live In Zip Codes With Dispensaries Less Likely To Use Cannabis

New research at the University of Illinois shows Illinois teens who live in ZIP codes with medical cannabis dispensaries are less likely to use the drug.  In a statewide survey, 18-percent of the youths living in Illinois ZIP codes with medical dispensaries reported they used cannabis during the prior year.  That is compared with 22-percent of those who lived in ZIP codes without these businesses.
