Third Annual Taste of Lockport Collaboration Event With LTHS 205 Foundation and City of Lockport
On Saturday, September 21, 2024, Lockport Township High School 205 Foundation will host the 3rd Annual Taste of Lockport community event. The event is a partnership with the City of Lockport with the goal of fundraising for LTHS students’ scholarships, programs, faculty grants, and LTHS community events. Fundraising efforts align with the Foundation’s mission statement: “to enrich the lives of all students, staff, and community members through extraordinary learning experiences and opportunities anchored in equity and inclusion.”
The family-friendly event location is in historic downtown Lockport on Hamilton Street in front of City Hall from 5:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Local restaurants and breweries will feature favorite menu items, accepting cash and credit for food purchases. The beer tent will sell beverage tickets to be sold onsite and redeemed for alcohol purchases. New this year, family friendly activities and games will be available at the Kids Zone from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM. This year’s bands are Casino Eve from 5:30 PM – 7:00 PM and Friday at Five taking the stage at 7:30 PM.
The admission price is $10, and we are encouraging the public to purchase their tickets in advance. Purchase your Pre-sale tickets online at TasteofLockport.org or Nik & Ivy Brewing Company for $10 until September 20, 2024. Tickets will be available at the door of the event for $10 with admission free for children and students. Back by popular demand, designated driver wristbands will be made available and complimentary non-alcoholic drinks for your DD to enjoy!
The LTHS 205 Foundation is a not-for-profit charitable organization that helps award $95,000 to graduating seniors yearly! All gifts to the Foundation are tax-deductible.
