Illinois health officials are reporting the death of a third state resident after being hospitalized with vaping-related lung injury. The Illinois Department of Public Health wouldn’t release details about the patient’s age, identity, or place of death citing privacy concerns. State health officials reported the nation’s first vaping-related death in August and a second death last week. The department says just over 160 people in Illinois ranging in age from 15 to 75-years old have experienced e-cigarette or vaping-related lung injuries.
