Third Person Charged in Joliet Homicide

Joliet Police have announced that a third individual has been arrested in connection with an April homicide. Christopher C. Parker, a 23-year-old from Chicago, has been charged with first degree murder.

It was on the night of April 30th that officers were called to the parking lot of a Denny’s Restaurant at 2531 Plainfield Road in reference to a man unresponsive in the parking lot.

Officers located the victim, 36-year-old Gregory G. Brown of Crest Hill laying in the parking lot having been shot. Joliet Fire Department responded and attempted to revive the victim, but Brown had already succumbed to his injuries. According to the Will County Coroner Brown died from a single gunshot wound.

Joliet Police have also charged 23-year-old Bobbie J. Ollom of Seneca and 20-year-old Joshua T. Anderson of Chicago with First Degree Murder.
