Indian Trail Middle School sixth grader Le’Tieles Baker reacts when a dry ice vapor bubble bursts in his hands during science class on Thursday, January 9, 2020. Sixth graders in Angie Mansfield’s class learned about sublimation, or when a solid turns into a gas, by watching experiments with dry ice. Mansfield made the bubbles by adding dish soap to dry ice to trap the vapor inside the soap bubble.
