Total Lunar Eclipse Could Be Visible In Chicago

A total lunar eclipse could be visible in the Chicago area this weekend.  That’s according to the Adler Planetarium.  A so-called “Flower Moon” will pass into the Earth’s shadow at 8:32 p.m. Sunday.  May’s Flower Moon is sometimes called a “Blood Moon” due to it’s reddish color, although that isn’t unique to this eclipse.  The forecast for Sunday May 15th as of Monday predicts partly cloudy skies and highs in the 70s.
