Townhouse Fire In Joliet Sunday Morning
A townhouse fire in Joliet on Sunday is quickly put out by the Joliet Fire Department. It was as 8:29 a.m. on November 19th, the Joliet Fire Department responded to 1120 Heron Circle for
reports of a structure fire.
The first units arrived within 2 minutes of the call and were met with heavy smoke and fire coming from the garage of 2-story multi-family dwelling. Multiple hose lines were used inside to extinguish fire on the first floor. All residents were able to get out of the building. Other crews performed water supply, search, ventilation, salvage and overhaul, safety and support functions. The fire was declared under control at 8:57 a.m.
Fire crews from stations 6,7,8,9 and 10 responded to the scene. There were no injuries to report. The fire is currently under investigation.
