A trial is underway for a Crestwood man charged with murdering a woman and their 14-month-old child. Anthony Maggio faces six counts of first-degree murder. He is accused of strangling Ashtin Eaton and smothering their daughter, Hazel Bryant, in October 2020 in their Lockport home. Prosecutors claim Maggio murdered Eaton and Bryant because he didn’t want to pay child support. The trial could last three weeks.
