In Bolingbrook, trick-or-treaters began knocking on doors just as the snow started to let up. A steady flow of parents and their kids bundled up for the cold and snow. Someone said, “at least it’s not rain.”

For those communities that postponed trick-or-treating the weather will cooperate, becoming cloudy today with a high near 41.

Trick-or-treating in Braidwood will occur Friday from 4-7 p.m.

The village of Dwight has changed its trick-or-treating night to Friday, from 3:30-7 p.m.

Shorewood postponed trick-or-treating to Friday, November 1, from 4-7 p.m.

The village of Beecher will trick-or-treat Saturday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
