Joliet Police have announced the arrest of a man and woman in connection with a homicide in Joliet last week. Joliet Police have now announced that 23-year-old Bobbie J. Ollom of Seneca and 20-year-old Joshua T. Anderson of Chicago have both been charged and taken into custody on warrants of First Degree Murder.

It was on the night of April 30th that officers were called to the parking lot of a Denny’s Restaurant at 2531 Plainfield Road in reference to a man unresponsive in the parking lot.

Officers located the victim, 36-year-old Gregory G. Brown of Crest Hill laying in the parking lot having been shot. Joliet Fire Department responded and attempted to revive the victim, but Brown had already succumbed to his injuries. According to the Will County Coroner Brown died from a single gunshot wound.

It’s not clear if the suspects knew the victim. Both are being held at the Des Moines Sheriff’s Office
