Two-Thirds Of Illinois Inmates Vaccinated Against COVID-19

The Illinois Department of Corrections says about two-thirds of all inmates have been vaccinated against COVID-19. Officials say only about 28-percent of IDOC staff members and 38-percent of medical and mental health staff have been vaccinated. The department says it’s completing a second round of vaccinations and expects to reach 70-percent of inmates.
