UIC To Begin Testing Potential COVID-19 Vaccine Next Month

The University of Illinois at Chicago is set to begin testing a potential vaccine for COVID-19 next month. The vaccine was developed by biotech company Moderna. The phase three clinical trial is expected to include 30-thousand participants across 90 sites in the U.S. Phase three is the final phase of testing before a vaccine may gain approval from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
