Village of Plainfield Wants To Hear From You About Transportation
The Village of Plainfield wants to hear from you about your transportation experience. Whether your were sitting in traffic along Route 59 or waiting for trains on Lockport Street, Plainfield wants to know about it.
Since the last Plainfield Master Transportation Plan was approved, in 2013, the Village has been following its guidance to improve our transportation infrastructure. The Village has seen a variety of accomplishments: new streets connected, new multi-use paths extended, new stoplights installed, improved street intersections, etc. Meanwhile, the Village has undergone incremental population growth and continued development.
Because many of the recommendations in the existing plan have already been successfully accomplished, it is time to re-engage the community in developing a new Plainfield Transportation and Mobility Plan using the freshest data and information to guide the Village through its next decade of development.
