Volunteers Needed For Meals On Wheels In Will County

Meals on Wheels in Will County is more than just nutrition. It can also serve as a well being check for our seniors. Nutrition director of Meals On Wheels in Will County, Sue Kainrath says, by delivering meals we get eyes on seniors everyday. Recently a senior had fallen and had been in his garage all night long until one of the Meals on Wheels drivers found him.

Meals on Wheels is looking for volunteers to deliver meals to seniors. There are 13 different sites in Will County and ten different routes in Joliet. Volunteers can work as little or as much as they choose from once a month to daily. Corporations can volunteer during their lunch hour.You can volunteer with friends or family. Volunteer opportunities are only available Monday through Friday during the lunch hour.
