Walgreen Cutting More Than 500 Corporate Jobs

Walgreens is eliminating more than 500 corporate jobs.  Most of the affected jobs are located at the Deerfield and Chicago offices of the retail pharmacy giant.  The cuts represent about ten-percent of Walgreen’s corporate workforce.  The layoffs come as the company deals with the fallout from opioid-related settlements.
