Will Co. Coroner ID's Body Found In 1980

Murder Victim Identified 42 years later/Will County Coroner’s Office

The Will County Coroner’s office is identifying a body found more than 40 years ago. The body was located in July 1980 in a crate at the Lockport locks powerplant in Will County. Through DNA testing, the remains were identified as Webster Fisher. Investigators say Fisher had been shot several times, and his body was likely in the water a few weeks before it was found.
