Will County Clerk Lauren Staley Ferry encourages voters to visit website for information on new voting districts for General Primary Election

Will County Clerk Lauren Staley Ferry reminds voters they can access complete information about their new voting districts by visiting her website at willcountyclerk.gov and clicking on the red Redistricting Maps and Information bar near the top of her homepage.

When you click on that link, you will find an interactive map under the heading Find Your New 2022 Districts. When you enter your address on this map, you will receive a listing of all the new districts in which you will vote starting with this year’s June 28 Primary Election.

District boundaries at all levels of government changed following the U.S. Census that was conducted in 2020. There are new voting districts for Congress, Illinois General Assembly, Will County Board, and in many cases, township precincts.

You can learn which candidates plan to run in those new districts by clicking on General Primary Election and scrolling down to Candidate and Referenda Lists.

“I have placed a tremendous amount of information on my website about Redistricting and the General Primary Election to ensure voters are up-to-date on developments throughout the election process,” County Clerk Staley Ferry said. “We redesigned and reorganized my website so that citizens can easily access all they need to make informed voting decisions.”

The County Clerk will send new Voter Registration Cards that contain new voting districts to every registered voter in April. She also will send personalized Voter Information Guides that include sample ballots and voting locations to every household with a registered voter in May.
