Winter Storm Warning Issued For Chicago Area Starting Tonight

A winter storm is expected to hit a portion of Chicagoland tonight. A Winter Storm Warning in effect from 8 p.m. Tuesday evening to 6 p.m. Wednesday. The National Weather Service says heavy snow is possible, with six to 12 inches in some parts of the region. Travel could be very difficult to impossible. A winter storm watch goes into effect tonight for sections of Cook and Will counties.
