Winter Weather Advisory In Effect Until 2 p.m.

Drivers should be cautious about dangerous road conditions this morning in the Chicago area. The National Weather Service says snow is expected to fall, with up to six inches possible. A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect until this afternoon. Untreated roads will become snow covered, which will make travel difficult during the morning commute. New snow accumulation of 1 to 2 inches possible with a total of 2.5 to 3.5 inches. The normal high for this time of year is 51 degrees today we’ll see temperatures drop to 23 degrees by 5 p.m.
