World of Outlaws Returns to Dirt Oval at Route 66 in October

Big time auto racing is returning to the Joliet area.

World of Outlaws Sprint Cars invade the Dirt Oval at Route 66 October 18th and 19th for the Federated Auto Parts Route 66 Showdown double header weekend. Some of the biggest names in Winged Sprint racing expected to be there, include Donny Schatz, Gio Scelzi, and Kraig Kinser, son of legend Steve Kinser. Tickets are $45 for adults, $25 for kids, parking is $10 per vehicle and children under 5 are free. Hot laps start at 6:30 and racing starts at 7:30 both nights.
