Zonta Club of Joliet Area Holds Sip and Swirl Fundraiser March 8th to Benefit Local and International Women’s Charities

The Zonta Club of Joliet Area will hold its annual fundraiser on Friday, March 8th, from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., at the Jacob Henry Mansion Estate Victorian Ballroom, 15 South Eastern Ave. in Joliet.  This year’s event, “Sip & Swirl with Zonta,” has a unique twist, featuring wine, spirit, and craft beer tastings from nine local breweries, distilleries and wineries.  Heavy appetizers will be served and each attendee will receive a signature glass.

The fun-filled event includes a split the pot raffle, silent auction items, and raffle baskets.

Participating breweries, distilleries, and wineries include Arrowhead Ales, Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, Elder Brewing Company, Hickory Creek Brewing Company, Metal Monkey Brewing, Tailwinds Distilling Company, The Wine Cellar Outlet, Werk Force Brewing Company, and Will County Brewing Company.

“Proceeds from our annual fundraiser support local and international Zonta charities,” said Zonta Club of Joliet President Beth Colvin.  “The Zonta mission is to advance the status of women and we encourage our community to join us in this endeavor by attending this event.”
