R. Kelly Convicted Of Racketeering

A New York jury is convicting R. Kelly of racketeering. The panel began deliberating on Friday following a six-week trial. The R-and-B singer was indicted in 2019 on racketeering charges accusing him of recruiting women and underage girls for sex. The trial featured dozens of witnesses, including the testimony of a number of alleged victims who claimed Kelly manipulated, controlled them and forced them to have sex with him and others.
