Sun Times: Video Shows Relative Push Boy Into Lake Michigan
FILE - In this Feb. 17, 2015, file photo, ice covered Lake Michigan is seen behind downtown skyline, in Chicago. Big cities, like Chicago, aren't growing like they used to. New figures released by the U.S. Census Bureau on Thursday, May 23, 2019, show most of the nation's largest cities last year grew by a fraction of the numbers they did earlier this decade. New information is being revealed about the three-year-old boy left in critical condition after he was pulled from Lake Michigan near Navy Pier this week.  The Sun Times reports surveillance video shows a relative pushing the child into the water before he was rescued in the 700 block of East Grand Avenue on Monday.  The relative initially told responding officers that she was only a witness to the incident.  The woman was taken into custody, but no charges have been announced.
