Brandon Johnson Elected Mayor Of Chicago

Brandon Johnson is celebrating after being elected Chicago’s 57th mayor. The Cook County Commissioner narrowly defeated former Chicago Public Schools CEO Paul Vallas in yesterday’s election. Johnson is replacing incumbent Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who lasted only one term. He will be sworn in May 15th.
