Child Thrown From Ride At Carnival In Northern Illinois

The Illinois Department of Labor is investigating after a child was thrown from a carnival ride in northern Illinois. Police say the incident happened yesterday at the Antioch Chamber of Commerce’s Taste of Antioch carnival. The 10-year-old victim was airlifted to an area hospital. The rides at the Taste of Antioch were shut down following the incident to allow officials to review safety of each ride.
