Governor Pritzker To Review Smoking Age Increase

Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker will only say he’s looking to “review” the plan to raise the smoking age in the state. Lawmakers are once again looking to raise the age to buy cigarettes and other tobacco products to 21. The governor yesterday said he’s willing to look at the plan, but didn’t offer any insight into whether he will sign the plan if it becomes law.
