IDOT Postpones Weekend Emergency Work on I-80

IDOT announced Friday evening that:

Due to expected inclement weather, repairs on eastbound I-80 are postponed. Work has been rescheduled for next weekend (1/14/22), weather permitting.

Weekend long work was expected to close at least one lane of Eastbound I-80 from Wheeler Ave. to Briggs St. The concrete patching will take place on Martin Luther King Jr. weekend.
