Illinois Awards $128M For Local Transportation Projects

Illinois is providing funding for local transportation enhancement projects. Officials announced that nearly 128-million-dollars has been awarded through the Illinois Transportation Enhancement Program to expand travel options and enhance quality of life in communities throughout the state. The 72 projects selected include biking and walking paths, trails, and streetscape beautification.
