Illinois‘ proposed 46-billion-dollar budget is awaiting Governor Pritzker’s signature. State lawmakers approved the spending plan early Saturday. The budget includes one-point-eight-billion-dollars in largely temporary election-year tax relief and one-billion-dollars for the state’s Rainy-Day Fund. The budget year begins July 1st.
