NWS: At Least 11 Tornadoes Hit Chicago Area

The National Weather Service is confirming that nearly a dozen tornadoes hit the Chicago. At least eleven tornadoes touched down Wednesday evening, downing trees and power lines and damaging homes and businesses. The locations include Cicero, Huntley, Elgin, Barrington, Long Grove, Des Plaines, Glendale Heights, Streamwood and at O’Hare International Airport. There have been no reports of injuries.
