Pritzker Declares May Motorcycle Awareness Month

Governor J.B. Pritzker is declaring May as Motorcyle Awareness Month. He is partnering with Illinois State Police and IDOT to remind residents to watch out for riders and to give them extra room. Motorcyclists are only three-percent of all vehicle registrations in the state, but make up 14-percent of traffic deaths. Just over 150 motorcyclists died in crashes last year.
