Water Is Safe Once Again In Channahon

Since Wednesday, the east side of Channahon was under a water boil order, after a Joliet water main break shut down water to Channahon east of I-55.

That boil order has now been terminated, according to Ed Dolezal, Director of Public Works at the Village of Channahon. He says bacteria samples are negative, indicating that the water is once again safe for all uses.
