AMITA St. Joe’s Nurses Vote to Authorize Strike

Nurses at AMITA Saint Joseph Medical Center have voted to authorize a strike. The official results showed that 91 percent of those that voted did so to authorize. The official count showed that 558 nurses voted yes while just 58 nurses voted no. The nurses have been without a contract since May 9th when their previous agreement expired.
