Another Arrest For Son of Former Will County Judge

The son of retired Will County judge Carla Alessio Policandriotes of Shorewood was arrested for the second time this month. Thirty-seven year old Louis Goode of Channahon was arrested, processed, and  transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility for Aggravated Battery to a Peace  Officer, Domestic Battery, Interfering with the Reporting of Domestic Violence, Obstructing a  Peace Officer, Resisting a Peace Officer, and an Illinois Department of Corrections Parole  Violation Warrant.

On July 21, 2023, at 6:30 PM, Officers responded to the Best Western hotel (4380 Enterprise  Drive) for a report of a domestic disturbance. Upon arrival, Officers made contact with Goode in  a guest room of the hotel. While speaking with Goode, Officers located a female in the  bathroom with apparent injuries to her face. Officers learned that the victim became involved in  an argument with Goode in the hotel parking lot and it is believed that Goode forced the victim  back into his hotel guest room where he punched the victim in the face multiple times before  then taking her phone from her to prevent her from calling 911. The victim was evaluated by  Joliet Fire Department paramedics but was not transported to the hospital.

As an Officer attempted to place Goode into custody, he pulled away and ran out a side door of  the hotel. An Officer caught up to Goode in the parking lot and Goode continued to resist arrest,  at one point placing a hold around the Officer’s abdomen. Additional Officers arrived and they  were able to place Goode into custody without further incident. Following the arrest, the  Department of Corrections issued a parole violation warrant. While being processed at the Joliet  Police Department, Goode complained of an injury, and he was transported to Ascension St  Joseph Medical Center by the Joliet Fire Department. He was released from the hospital a short  time later and transferred to the Will County Adult Detention Facility. Two Officers sustained  minor injuries following the struggle with Goode. Bond set at $200,000.

Meanwhile, on July 9th, Goode was arrested disorderly conduct.
