Crest Police Officer Injured in Shooting

WJOL has learned that Crest Hill Police were involved in an officer involved shooting on Monday night. The incident took place in the 1400 block of Pioneer Road. An Officer was injured during the encounter according to sources and is being treated at Amita St. Joseph Medical Center. The Will Grundy major crimes task force is handling the investigation.
