Flash Flood Watch In Effect Until Tonight
Batch of shower and t-shower which moved through Will Co between 6:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. produced rainfall totals of .50 to 1.50″ in some locations from 30 minutes to 45 minutes.
While not severe, the onset of the heavy rain is producing low visibilities and slick roadways.
A second area of moderate to heavy rain near Ottawa and LaSalle is expected to reach the JOT area by 830 to 845.  This area of rain is expected to last until 10:00 a.m. and is capable of producing an additional 1.50 to 2.00″ rainfall!
Temps today will struggle to reach 80 due to rain and cloud cover!
There is a Flash Flood Watch in effect through late tonight due to possible rapid rises in creeks and streams in low lying areas!
Not as much rain on Wednesday….Cooler and less humid Thursday to Sunday with highs of 75 to 80…..Gorgeous weather for Friday to Sunday!!!
