Governor-Elect Will Double Top Aides Salaries With His Own Cash

Billionaire Governor-elect J.B. Pritzker plans to pay his top aides additional money out of his own pocket. His Chief of Staff Anne Caprara will be paid a salary of 298 thousand dollars and 150 thousand will come from a fund set up by the new state leader. Outgoing Governor Bruce Rauner chief of staff made 180 thousand dollars last year. Pritzker will also pay additional money to the salary of deputy governor Dan Hynes.
