IDPH Marks Two-Year Anniversary of First COVID-19 Case in Illinois

The Illinois Department of Public Health is recognizing the two-year anniversary of the first COVID-19 case reported in the state. Health officials announced the first case of the virus in Illinois on January 24th, 2020. The first confirmed case was a Chicago woman in her 60s who returned from Wuhan, China on January 13th, 2020. Two years later, health officials are reporting more than 30-thousand COVID deaths in Illinois.
