Illinois Teen Football Standout Killed At Party

An Illinois teen football standout who had recently been featured in Sports Illustrated is dead. Authorities say 14-year-old Jaylon McKenzie was hit by a stray bullet after a fight broke out at a large party in Venice. McKenzie and a 15-year-old were taken to the hospital after officers responded to shots fired at the party. He was pronounced dead a short time later, and the other teen is in critical condition. McKenzie was an eighth-grader at Central Junior High School in Belleville.
