Illinois State Police say they saw three Scott’s Law violations end in crashes over a four day period starting Thursday. On Halloween, a trooper was hit on I-74 near Moline in Henry County while helping with a crash. The trooper wasn’t hurt. Two ISP troopers conducting a traffic stop Sunday in Chicago were also hit. Authorities say an alleged drunk driver veered onto the shoulder on I-57 at 119th Street and hit an ISP squad car. The crash caused a chain reaction involving another ISP squad car and the vehicle the troopers had pulled over. Both troopers were taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
