Mayor-Elect Lightfoot Begins Transition After Huge Election Victory

Chicago Mayor-elect Lori Lightfoot is taking the first steps of transitioning into the fifth floor office of City Hall. She met yesterday with outgoing Mayor Rahm Emanuel at his office. After the meeting, Lightfoot then went to the Chicago Police Department, where she met with police Superintendent Eddie Johnson. She says her concern is what is the plan to curb street violence this upcoming summer.
