New Babysitting Bill Passes Illinois House, Moves To Senate

An Illinois House bill that would allow kids 12 and older to babysit younger kids at home alone has passed and is moving to the Senate. The Babysitting Bill would protect parents of young teenagers from being charged with child neglect or abandonment. It adjusts the age children can be left home alone from 14 to 12-years-old.
