Governor Pritzker is calling on the federal government to increase monkeypox virus vaccination efforts as cases climb in Chicago.  The governor is asking the head of the US Department of Health and Human Services to take more aggressive action to counter the monkeypox outbreak in the U.S. and further prioritize areas with the most significant outbreaks.  The governor is sending 46-hundred of state’s vaccine doses to Chicago, where most of Illinois‘ monkeypox cases have been reported.
